There is work being done across Canada, and across the world to help learn more about living with, and curing sickle cell disease. You are not alone!
Ways to Support Canadian Patient Families:
Consider donating blood with Canadian Blood Services: register with CBS’ ‘Partners for Life’ program: the Sickle Cell Disease Association of Canada has partnered with CBS in creating a Sickle Cell Team, to encourage blood donations from everyone across the country – register on CBS’ website here, with #: SICK327620 and your donations will be credited to the Sickle Cell National Team, building unity among supporters across Canada!
Register with Canadian Blood Services’ OneMatch Stem Cell and Marrow program; this matches donors to patients needing stem cell transplants.
